You must be a resident of the City district and supply proof as required in City Code to obtain a residential parking permit. Please read all information below prior to completing the application for corresponding Fiscal Year:
The following documents are required each time you apply for a residential parking permit.

- Copy of current Maryland driver's license showing your name and address in the residential parking district.
- Copy of current vehicle registration card for each vehicle showing your name and address in the residential parking district.

If your current driver's license and/or current vehicle registration reflect an address outside the parking district, you must also provide one of the following to support your claim to residency in the parking district.
- Property Owner - Proof of property ownership and current residency: current tax bill or SDAT printout, and current utility bill, and no current rental license at the property, OR

- Military - Documents issued by the U.S. military authorities proving your residency in the parking district.
If you do not own the vehicle, provide an affidavit from the vehicle owner certifying your right to possession.
The City may require additional evidence of your eligibility at its discretion.
- No permits are issued for vehicles with unpaid City parking citations.
- Your permit expires when you move from the parking district or your lease expires.
