- COMPOSITION:
Five members who shall be residents and registered voters of the City. There is created a board of appeals. Term of office of the members of the board shall be three years. They shall be appointed by the mayor, confirmed by the city council and removable for cause, upon written charges, and after public hearing. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term of any member whose term becomes vacant. - CITY CODE: 21.08.040
- DUTIES:
To hear certain appeals from decisions of the Planning and Zoning Director, certain variances and other Planning and Zoning matters; to hear appeals relating to licensing of peddlers, taxicab owners and drivers, valet parking, housing matters, wastewater pretreatment regulations and certain Market House appeals; and to hear appeals and other matters as authorized by the City Council. - MEETINGS:
